Samsung S8300 Ultra Touch Review-GSMArena

Samsung S8300 UltraTOUCH, otherwise dubbed as the Tocco Ultra edition, joins in on the bandwagon of full touch handsets that seem to be occupying the upper range of the market quite successfully. Nothing can compare to the ease of use of a touchscreen phone – given the user interface is done right. And Samsung have put a lot of effort in their proprietary TouchWiz interface.

The Samsung S8300 UltraTOUCH is definitely among the most exciting devices that saw daylight during this year’s MWC. We took a closer look at its beta-version and were impressed but the final one is even more impressive. No-one’s claiming it’s perfect, but it certainly has plenty to show off about.

Sony Ericsson W705 Review-Mobile Review

Essentially, the W705 is the good old Sony Ericsson G705 but in a new Walkman-styled wrapping, coming with disabled GPS and a wealth of new applications. The phone has a distinctive youth appeal and obviously targets the younger audience, primarily 16-25 year olds. If everything goes to plan, the W705 will squeeze its predecessor out of the market, since it looks much less attractive in view of their similar price points.

The presence of two identical phone in the portfolio is the legacy of the company’s flawed policy they applied in the past. Even though the W705 won’t be able to generate any seblence of significant sales at its launch, once its price goes down by 15-25 percent, which isn’t something unreasonable and should be expected to happen within the next three quarters, it may well become one of the most popular offerings in its segment. But in truth, it doesn’t have many rivals out there – all other music-minded solutions of this caliber either come in a different form-factor or positioned in a different vein.

LG KM900 Arena Review-GSMArena

One of the most exciting handsets the season – the LG KM900 Arena – returns to our office and this time it is going to stay a bit longer. After getting off to a flying start in both sales and reviews the Arena certainly looks like the next big thing from LG. In these tough economic times no company can afford too many blunders so it better live up to those high expectations.

The LG KM900 Arena grabbed our attention for the first time back in February at the MWC and even more so last month when we previewed it. Let’s see if it’s third time lucky and if it will be able to completely sweep us off our feet in a full review.

Nokia 5130 XpressMusic Preview-GSMArena

At a certain point everyone finds themselves in the situation where all they need is a no-nonsense phone that looks good and doesn’t cost a fortune. The Nokia 5130 XpressMusic is exactly the kind – one of the sleekest, most affordable handsets by the Finnish manufacturer that has ever set foot in our door.

With a distinctly youthful charm, the Nokia 5130 XpressMusic certainly won’t replace your laptop but will give you all a mobile phone should. Offering the bare minimum might not be what your average geek expects from a phone but it is exactly what the market wants. The fact that the Nokia 5310 sold more than 13 million units is clear enough evidence of this.

After all, not everyone can afford an N97 nor does everyone need it. What everyone does need however is good performance from their handset, even more so if reliability can be offered at a low price point. So we felt a thorough review of the Nokia 5130 XpressMusic was in order to check out this theory.
